JOHN SEED teaches History and Cultural Studies at Roehampton University. He has published on politics, art, religion and the propertied classes in eighteenth- and nineteenth-century England. He has also published on twentieth-century British and American poetry and on the 1960s and is the author of six collections of poetry. He is currently completing a book on eighteenth-century historiography, public memory and politics for Edinburgh University Press. | |
